Initial Appointments
Our initial appointments are held online and take up to 1.5 hours. This allows your clinician the time gather enough information to understand the needs of you or your child and effectively plan treatment. It also provides you and/or your child the opportunity to see if Mosaic is the right fit for you.

Private Client/Private Health
You do not require a referral to see a psychologist privately. These services are provided in 50 minute sessions with 10 mins administration time allowed.
Some private health providers may pay a rebate towards psychology, check with your provider.

Medicare - Mental Health Care Plan
Under the Medicare Better Access Scheme, you may be eligible for 10 individual sessions with a Psychologist for targeted psychological therapy each year. These focus on providing focused psychological strategies for a range of presentations.
These sessions are 50 minutes with 10 minutes allowed for administration and planning.

NDIS
NDIS Therapies and Interventions are guided by your or your young person's NDIS plan goals. NDIS sessions generally focus on emotional regulation, social skills and mental health related to your diagnosis/es.
Sessions are generally 50 minutes with 10 minutes allowed for administration and planning.

Additional Services
Additional services include items such as writing reports and letters, engaging in collaboration with schools or other stakeholder meetings, and travel. These services are available by negotiation and are generally charged according to the usual hourly rate.

Ages for Therapeutic Services
Mosaic Psychology Services SA currently provides its' services to children aged 8 years and over, adoloscents and adults.
Parent support services are available for children of all ages. Services for younger children may be negotiated on request, and may become available in the future.
Parent/Support Person Sessions
Are you a parent or a support person for someone with a disability or mental health concern? We provide psycho-education sessions, where you can learn more about your loved one's condition, and build a strategy toolbox to effectively support them.
NDIS Clients
Within your child's NDIS plan, education and support training is available for parents and support person. Sessions with a psychologist provide psycho-education and skills training for managing behaviours and emotions.
Medicare Client
You may be eligible for up to two rebated sessions per year as a support person to someone with a MHCP.
